Jules Deas hired to lead Charleston-area Mortgage team at SouthState
CHARLESTON, S.C. – March 23, 2021 – SouthState Bank today announced Jules Deas III has joined the bank as mortgage sales manager based in the greater Charleston area.

Deas will serve customers in need of a residential mortgage while also overseeing the Charleston loan officer team.

A graduate of Furman University, Deas began his career in banking in Charleston in 2007 with Truist, formerly SunTrust, where he served as a personal banker and assistant branch manager. In 2010, he moved into the role of mortgage loan officer with the company where he was a perennial top performer.

Aiming to provide outstanding service and personalized solutions to all borrowers, Deas brings 11 years of mortgage expertise to SouthState. Licensed in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Florida and Alabama, he will create a client-focused lending experience for customers across the Southeast.
