Commercial Banking Intern Program
College undergraduates interested in the Commercial Banking field are invited to apply for SouthState’s Commercial Banking Intern Program. This 9-10 week summer intensive offers a deep dive into the world of banking through interactive job shadowing, instructor-led training and collaborative projects. Travel opportunities include meeting executives and SouthState's CEO.
Interns get a glimpse into specific departments including operations, credit, treasury management and commercial lending. Mentors from SouthState work with each participant to determine if a career in banking fits their career goals.
Those who complete an internship may apply for SouthState’s Commercial Banking Associate Program, a 12-month journey of leadership development, on-the-job training and individualized mentorship. Associates are eligible for full-time employment.
