  • Go to the App Store (iTunes® or Google PlayTM) and download the SouthState Mobile Banking App.

  • Open the app and tap "Enroll now".

  • Enter account information, tap Next. (PLEASE NOTE: The PIN will be the last 4 digits of your SSN/EIN.)

  • Enter the following information: First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State and Zip. Tap Next. Enter DOB, email address and create your Security Question. Tap Begin Enrollment.

  • Please complete the additional verification questions and click Enroll.

  • Review and agree to the online banking terms and conditions. Tap Agree.

  • Create a Username, Password* and confirm your Password. Tap Continue.

  • Set up Challenge Questions and Answers. Tap Continue.

  • Once you have completed the enrollment process, the Log In screen to sign in to Mobile Banking will appear. Login using your Username and Password.

To reset your password, you can click the “Forgot Password” link from the login screen.

You can pay your bills through Online or Mobile Banking. To learn more about setting up your bills in the Mobile App, please visit the Mobile Banking FAQs.

To pay your bills online, follow these simple instructions to begin.

  1. Log into Online Banking at SouthStateBank.com.

  2. Click Send Money at the top.

    1. If this is your first time setting up BillPay, you will be asked to verify your account information and agree to the Terms and Conditions.

  3. Click Add a Company or Person to begin setup.

    1. To add a Company, search under the given tabs, or you can type in the Company name. Enter in the account number and zip code associated with the Company.

    2. To add a Person, enter in the First and Last Name with their Email Address or Mobile Number.

  4. Once you have provided the information for the Company or Person, click Add. Review the information, click Finish to complete.

  5. To make a payment, enter in the Amount and Deliver By date by the company or person you would like to pay, and click Send Money at the bottom.

Please note: If you have BillPay set up on multiple accounts, please be sure to select the account you wish to pay your bill from the drop-down box in the Payment Center.

Transfers initiated Monday thru Friday by 8:30 PM EST will be effective the same day. Any transfer initiated after 8:30 PM EST will be effective the next business day.

Yes. You can use BillPay to make payments or click on the “Credit Card” link within Online Banking to access your credit card account to make payments.

  8. Must have a bank account in the U.S. to use Zelle.
